A majestic return to Brighton for Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds last night, as they wowed the crowd at Preston Park with a phenomenal performance. The On the Beach party continued on Saturday with an enormous line-up headlined by The Maccabees, and featuring Editors, Anna Calvi, Miles Kane, ASH, Badly Drawn Boy and Brighton’s own Lime Garden. Celebrating the 20th anniversary of their debut album With Love & Squalor, We Are Scientists are out on extensive tour dates complemented by last year’s release, Qualifying Miles. Ever popular indie icons The Maccabees headlined the Eden Sessions in Cornwall on Saturday, entertaining a huge crowd and bringing a host of great support artists along for the ride. Mike Burnell was there to capture their set in pictures, along with special guests Everything Everything, Tom A Smith, Tummyache, The Velvet Hands and Matilda Finn Frances.
